Frame it!

This is my window sill,
above my kitchen sink.
Where I live.

When I went looking for religious art -
I couldn't find what I was looking for
so
I made it.
I took a picture of Mary and Jesus from a Christmas card
And then I printed my favorite prayer
Anima Christi:
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O Good Jesus, hear me.
Within Thy wounds hide me.
Suffer me not to be separated from thee.
From the malignant enemy defend me.
In the hour of my death call me.
And bid me come unto Thee,
That with all Thy saints,
I may praise thee
Forever and ever.
Amen.

...and framed it too.

Oh and I just remembered this nest we found
and shockingly,
subsequently....framed.

Fun aye?

  1. I need to print and frame that prayer. How do you find time for crafts??

  2. I do this too! Christmas cards make the best framed art!

  3. Come and do my house. You can put me in a coma and then when you are done, I will wake up and be happy.

  4. Sound wood countertops are pure goods made from wood via timber about 120 years. Wood is often a dwelling substance and the much more wetness receives, the greater the wood countertop will clearly develop.

  5. Wish so much that I had a window sill on which I could set something like this, but our windows are just made funny. What a simple, clever and creative way to get your daily dose of inspiration! The Anima Christi is one of the first prayers I was taught as a child and I love it!
